So just a quick update. Sorry it's not positive :( But 'hairdresser' man and I are finished before we even got started, and I heard this through my hairdresser! Yeah, he didn't have the decency to tell me himself.

According to my hairdresser (who saw him on Thursday, I came in on Friday, coincidence eh?), he said the date with me was good. We had a lot in common, lots to talk about, etc. BUT something 'has come up' for him. She asked, what does that mean??? He wouldn't elaborate, so she took it as 'ex-girlfriend has come back'.

He has not called me or emailed me and it has been 10 days since our date. I guess I have my answer ;)

In other news... my hairdresser did an excellent job with my hair!! I am looking sexier than ever!!!!!!!! LOL ;)

I am feeling angry, mostly. *sigh* ....

So who knew that "facebook" was a dating service??? I set up my profile about 3 months ago because my daughters have profiles. They are my ONLY friends there, by choice. Two of my co-workers have profiles but we are not 'friends'.

Anyway, my 'boytoy', who I (very) briefly mentioned in a previous post, found me on facebook and now, another man has contacted me. He and I met for coffee on Saturday and he is taking me out for dinner tonight. He is into me more than I am into him. Also, he is 10 years younger. He has a very heavy accent that is a bit of a challenge for me. He knows I am taking things VERY slow, as I don't know if there is going to be anything between us.

I find it all very interesting!

I am at work today kind of still feeling fluish. I went home mid afternoon on Monday, feeling crappy and stayed home yesterday. Lovely symptoms of headache, body ache, and stomach stuff :( Dating stuff after the cut...

I just got a phone call from Man#2. He has to cancel tonight as he is still working at an out of town site. He said he wanted to wait until I got home to call me. He asked about tomorrow night. I have drumming until 8pm. We are going to try and get something together soon. I told him I was disappointed and he said he was too. There might be potential here... ;)

It was my girls' birthday weekend. They ended up meeting four friends Friday night to watch a movie. I went to the same movie but did not sit with them :) The movie was Zodiac. A very interesting watch, although long at 2 hrs and 40 mins! It was not as violent as I had been anticipating. Jake Gyllenhaal seemed quite passive, but that was probably his character. Robert Downey Jr was very good, he has great screen presence.

Last night I met Man#2 (I met him two weeks ago for a coffee date) for dinner. He had called Saturday night. We had a fun conversation and he suggested meeting for dinner during that phone call. So last night was the night. I had soooo much fun!! We laughed and chatted and a pleasant time was had by all ;) I felt very respected by and comfortable with him. He walked me to my car and gave me a hug. We agreed to continue to talk on the phone and meet when we could. It was a very positive experience for me :)
